We drove through
Todos Santos and made our way a couple of miles out of town and dropped our
tow. The streets are so narrow, there
isn’t always a place to park with a motorhome pulling a tow. We drove back to Todos Santos to check out
shops. Todos Santos is where you can
buy all kinds of pottery, blankets, glassware, and eat some incredible tacos.
We also checked out the Hotel
California. (A song made famous by the Eagles).
We drove back to the motorhome, hooked up and headed for La Paz. The road was narrow again but to our surprise this was temporary because of construction on the road. The road turned into a four lane again. As we drove through La Paz, we noticed a couple of plant pot stores along the road. We drove past the Home Depot, Sam’s Club and the Walmart and finally saw the Yonkes( junk yards), then turned into Campestre Maranatha RV Park. Most of the parks have sewer, water and usually good electricity. This had everything along with intermittent power. Our voltage regulator was clicking on and off all night. Only in Mexico! The Baja is certainly impressive up till now!
