Cabo San Lucas. Our
day began with a trip to Home Depot, not something most people would do in Cabo. Steve was trying to solve an electrical
problem that we are frequently having in Mexico. We have too much voltage
coming in and then our surge protector shuts our electric down. We can’t say we
weren’t warned! Steve finally resolved that problem, and we went to a beautiful
restaurant overlooking the Sea of Cortez for a special “last day in Cabo”
lunch. We splurged on delicious Lobster Chowder in a bread bowl and the $19.95
Lobster Tail Special.
When we returned to the campground, we had a travel
briefing for tomorrow’s “Adventure.” At 3:00pm, taxis picked us all up to go to
the Marina. We had enough time for cocktails and a little shopping.
Here are Gail, James, Joyce and Charlie enjoying the Marina.
We found a
bar decorated in Green Bay Packer posters and emblems. We are continually
amazed how many “Packer Backers” we find in our travels!
Before long, it was
time to join our fellow caravaners for our sunset Catamaran cruise. What a great
time! There was food, an open bar, music and dancing! The views up close of “Lands’
End” and the magnificent rocks and arch were breathtaking.
Afterwards, we were rewarded with close-up
views of a mother whale and her baby repeatedly breaching the water and diving.
From all reports, everyone enjoyed the
cruise immensely!
